The National Juried Show (NJS) tours are a Quilt Canada tradition and this year they are going virtual as part of the Celebration of Quilting in Canada that runs from June 16 – 19, 2021.
And, to keep things interesting, they feature a few new and exciting elements. Participants will be privy to exclusive details about the shows, enjoying stories about the quilts that won’t be told anywhere else. In addition, each of our 12 virtual tours will be unique and the presenters will change as well, giving each its own delicious flavour. See the quilts through your tour guide’s eyes, gain insight into why they were accepted into the juried show and discover additional background on a sampling of the quilts in each tour.
Tours will being hosted by CQA/ACC Certified Judges and members of the Board of Directors in live webinars. Each session will be one hour long and include a 45-50 minute tour with 10-15 minutes for questions. Check out the calendar that highlights when they are on offer and the detailed descriptions of what will be covered in each one to help you decide which to attend. Registration is open until 3 pm EDT on June 15, 2021. The registration form also includes a list of all presentations and tours offered daily.
