Over 7,500 quilters from across Canada meet annually at Quilt Canada to celebrate their creative passion, enjoying three to four days of workshops, lectures, quilt shows, shopping and entertainment. National Juried Show (NJS) Awards

Up to 200 of Canada’s best quilts are juried into the National Juried Show (NJS) annually. Cash prizes range in value from $250 for Judge’s Choice to $6,000 for Best of Show. Prize sponsorship guarantees great exposure with logo placement on/in sponsorship signage, the NJS catalogue, Canadian Quilter magazine, CQA/ACC social media, and at the award ceremony. Cash awards are preferred, however product awards are negotiable.

Special awards recognize excellence in workmanship. Each of the Judge’s Choice awards are valued at $250.

National Juried Show (NJS) Catalogue

Through generous sponsorship, CQA/ACC offers the NJS catalogue for sale to attendees for the low price of $5. It is at least 100 pages, full colour and shares a photo and artist statement of each quilt accepted into the National Juried Show.

Additional Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

 

Quilt Canada 2022 is a great place to showcase your brand. In addition to the NJS Awards, there are many aspects of the conference that will benefit from your support and offer your brand higher visibility. New in 2022 is the Opening Night Gala event, which will include a stand-up buffet supper, the Award Ceremony, and an after party to socialize with quilters from near and far. The after party will include dessert, coffee/tea, a grand door prize draw and additional door prize draws.

Workshops and Lectures

Quilt Canada 2022 will host 17 daily workshops, 3 – 4 daytime lectures and 2 evening keynote lectures. Eight classrooms require domestic machines and two classrooms require longarm machines to accommodate up to 20 students per classroom. Additionally, workshops may require a supply of thread, machine needles, irons and batting, as well as electrical requirements.
