The Sustainability Challenge
Earth Day, 2023—Wow, we received almost 180 submissions to The Sustainability Challenge! Bravo and thank you to everyone who participated. Just imagine how many pounds of textiles were saved from going to the landfill!
You will find lots of inspiration for making quilts from repurposed textiles, and some unique ideas for using found objects. What to do with all those treasured, handmade doilies…old dog leashes (they make great bag handles and key fobs)…embroidered hankies…upholstery samples…and, of course, blue jeans…the answers are here!
