Class Title: Paths Travelled on Paint and Stitch
Class Code: E-Fri7:30-GL
Teacher’s Name: Gloria Loughman
Date and Time: Friday, June 9, 7:30 pm – 9 pm
Type of Class: Lecture
Fee: $40
Description: Over the last twenty years or so, we have travelled to many places for workshops, or even occasionally, a holiday. Most of my quilts have been based on my husband’s photographic images of places we have explored both in Australia and overseas. This lecture features some of these stunning images and my response in fabric and stitching. A segment on the process of working from a photo to the design and final quilt, will be included. This presentation will be a feast of colour and texture and will provide inspiration and a process for capturing the essence of paths travelled.
