Artist’s Statement: This Red-lored Amazon parrot, with its intense colours and “can we talk?” expression, begged to be translated into a quilt. I layered multiple fabrics to achieve subtle colour blends—a quilter’s technicolour dream. Each piece is individually stitched to add texture and dimension to the parrot.
