Materials: Cotton fabric, pencils, pens, paints, inks, lamé, jewellery, cording, leather tassels and wooden dowels.
Techniques: Free-motion embroidery, machine appliqué, fused, raw-edge appliqué, foiling and domestic-machine quilting with a stitch regulator.

Artist’s Statement: This quilt was created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Langley Quilt Guild. The backing is canvas, mounted on a wooden frame. The quilt is structured like a two-sided vertical blind. Each Klimt painting is revealed by gently pulling the dowel sideways, while firmly holding the bottom of the frame.
