Dimensions: 96" x 96" Wall Quilt

Materials: Cotton fabric, polyester thread and wool batting.

Techniques: Machine piecing and longarm quilting.

Credits: Traditional pattern, "Jacob’s Ladder."

Artist’s Statement: I wanted to make a maximalist quilt and try bridging disparate colours into a cohesive whole. It was so much fun choosing fabrics that reinforced and supported each other and contrasted with the same solid (Kona® Indigo) in every block. Many thanks to my friend for giving me free rein of her stash.
