Artist’s Statement: "Pansy" started as a challenge to use ultraviolet purple, which was the 2018 Pantone® colour of the year. She is a quilt full of playfulness, an entirely improv-pieced centre, full of movement and fun, with offset, but more traditional borders to calm her down a bit.
