Techniques: Hand embroidery, machine piecing, machine, fused, raw-edge appliqué and domestic-machine quilting.

Artist’s Statement: I designed "Dancing Dragonflies" around a piece of yukata cotton I was gifted, drawing colour from it. I traced the dragonflies on the yukata and created raw-edge appliqué designs, which were added after piecing. French knots were added to the flowers after simple, straight-line quilting.
