Materials: Cotton fabric, cotton batting, rayon threads and cotton thread for hand embroidery.

Techniques: Hand embroidery and machine piecing.

Artist’s Statement: Inspired by artist Piet Mondrian, I wanted to make a mid-century modern quilt using the same colours. I enjoy improv and walking-foot quilting and decided to construct furniture pieces, which I hope the viewer can see taking shape.
