Materials: Hand-dyed, shibori-dyed and commercial cotton, coating fabric and tulle.

Techniques: Hand- and shibori-dyed cotton fabric, machine appliqué, fused, raw-edge appliqué, as well as hand tied and domestic-machine quilting.

Artist’s Statement: A wall hanging of tiles in Oaxaca prompted my exploration of a grid format. The designs in the shibori-dyed fabric took on a new life after cutting and rearranging.
