Artist’s Statement: "Light Shift" depicts that brief period when the city lights outshine the sunlight. This vista struck a chord in me as I turned onto a busy downtown street after walking in a shaded residential area. For a short time, details of the city architecture were still visible before darkness profoundly altered the scene.
