The Thunder Bay Quilters Guild continues to meet via zoom. Our last meeting will be at the end of June, with a summer break in July and August. Our plans for an outdoor 40th anniversary guild get-together and picnic have fallen through, so we will combine it with our Quilt Show in May of 2023. This year has seen many guest lecturers and classes, the most recent being Canadian Red Cross Quilts with Joanna Dermenjian of sutureandselvedge.com. Members are encouraged to continue making donation quilts, placemats and fidget quilts during the summer break. Kits and fabrics are always available. Popular with our guild this year were swaps and challenges. A show and tell slide show was enjoyed during the zoom meetings. It is a good way to stretch our creative wings!
