Tickets for Kate Ward’s online webinar on Saturday, April 17, 2021 are now available to non-members.

Join her to learn several fun and easy ways to create fabrics at home using your stash. Solar dying, mark making with rust and how to print patterns using objects found around the house are just a few of the techniques that she will demonstrate, leaving you with lots of ideas for how you might include them in your latest piece or use them as the perfect starting point for a slow stitching project.

Kate is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist working in textiles, ceramics, jewelry, video and installation. Based in Truro, NS, her work is often minimalist, focusing on form, colour and the interplay of contrasts. Her practice is inspired by the ephemeral, the metaphysical, the symbolic and the relationship between art, ritual and culture.

This hour-long webinar begins at 3 pm EDT and non-member tickets are $20. Don’t miss out!
