Inspired by my annual WIPS-B-GONE challenge, this presentation includes tips and suggestions I’ve learned for moving our old projects to the finish line. Since almost all quilters have unfinished projects tucked away somewhere, this lecture will appeal to quilters of all skill levels and styles.
About Leanne Parsons
Leanne Parsons has been quilting more than half her life. She loves scrap quilts, blender fabrics, and free motion quilting on her Janome 6700 domestic machine. She also loves combining different techniques in her quilts, so her patterns use a mix of traditional piecing, appliqué, paper piecing, and hand embroidery. She believes even the smallest scraps can be used to make something beautiful and loves playing with her scraps to prove it. She lives in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and if she’s not quilting, she’s probably reading, baking, hiking or snowshoeing (depending on the season), or strolling along the beach. Thanks to all the time she spends on the beach, her sea glass and beach rock collections almost rival her fabric collection!
