ODYSSEY – 1st Place

Title: ODYSSEY

1st Place

Maker: Holly McDermid

Artist Statement ODYSSEY focuses on exploration through journeys. The fabric inspired me to think about travelling and camping, which led to vintage Volkswagen buses with colourful designs on the side. This is my first fully applique’d quilt. I used a variety of techniques in my custom design. I’m proud to present ODYSSEY.
