Artist’s Statement: A friend lent me Barbara M. Burnham’s book, "Baltimore Garden". Love at first sight! I learned how to make 3D flowers with fabric and included them in this quilt. My goal was to stay in the evening with my husband, sewing beside him. The quilt became my daily friend for three-and-a-half years.
