Techniques: Hand-sponged dye work, mono-printing, sumi brushstrokes and domestic-machine quilting.

Artist’s Statement: "Gathering Storm" was created during a winter workshop while viewing the Niagara Falls through gridded windows. The fabric is a composite of monoprint and sumi ink, brush painting on cream, cotton fabric and the background is fabric created using leftover inks and dye from the workshop.
