Techniques: Hand embroidery, machine piecing and longarm quilting with a stitch regulator.

Artist’s Statement: Inspired by how community spirit surrounds us with love. The swallows represent those close to us. The half-square triangles represent people we work and play with: for me, the quilting community. The squares represent our neighbourhood homes. The stripes represent our extended communities. The semi-circles represent landscapes connecting our communities.
