Materials: Kaffe Fassett® cotton fabric, commercial cotton, Tyvek®, batting and glue.

Techniques: Hand appliqué, hand and machine piecing, fusing, trapunto and free-motion, domestic-machine quilting.

Artist’s Statement: The night sky: vast and infinite darkness, faint, yet innumerable patterns illuminated by the unique mysteries of the stars. And here on Earth, are we not similar, each of us an intricate pattern called individuality, unique in our own colourful way, indeed, one in a billion (or eight)?
