Materials: Mainly cotton fabric (hand-dyed, commercial, ethnic and recycled).
Techniques: Linocut stamping, hand embroidery, hand appliqué, machine piecing and domestic-machine quilting.
Artist’s Statement: Last spring, at our cottage in Muskoka, the trilliums were the best I have seen in my life. My quilt is a song of celebration of spring and particularly of those glorious trilliums.
