WEBINAR: MARCH 13, 2024 at 7 pm ET Paul Leger talks about his quilting journey, from retired armed forces member cutting up his uniform shirts, to quilt designer and teacher, and the hundreds of quilts in between. Tickets available now for both members ($10) and non-members ($15).

Paul Leger, quiltmakerYou know you’re in for a fun time if Paul Leger is involved. Paul is not only a quiltmaker, designer, and teacher, he’s one of those people who loves to laugh and put a smile on everyone’s face.

Newly retired, Paul started quilting in 1990 after 21 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, and 16 years with the federal government. His first project involved cutting up his armed forces uniform shirts and turning them into a quilt. He had a sewing machine at the suggestion of his mother, a quiltmaker and dressmaker.

This lead to another project, and now, about 300 quilts later, Paul is a pattern writer, designer, guest blogger, teacher, and Bernina Ambassador.
