CQA/ACC Member Guilds and Shops may post their events for free.
Non- member quilting organizations will pay a $25 + applicable tax fee to have their event posted.
Click on the +post your event button below to submit your event and if you are not a member guild or shop, the CQA/ACC Administrative Assistant will email you with details to pay the advertising fee.

Kamloops Sagebrush Quilters Guild Quilt Show

The Sagebrush Quilters Guild is proud to announce their upcoming 2024 Quilt Show on Friday, May 3 from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday, May 4 from 10 am to 4 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Parish Centre at 635 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, BC.
This event serves to showcase the extraordinary artistic handiwork of our members and invite the public to join our world of textile arts. The show will include a featured display of our community project quilts and our members’ entries into a Quilt Challenge. There will be a tea room, a merchant’s mall, door prizes, and a Viewer’s Choice Award. Admission to the show is just $10.
Our Quilt Raffle Grand Prize is a beautifully crafted large batik quilt, 2nd Prize is an adorable gender neutral “Bunnies” Baby quilt, and 3rd Prize is a lovely “Birdhouse” quilted wall hanging.
The Sagebrush Quilters Guild includes 65 members who represent a wide range of interests, focus and expertise in the textile arts. We create and distribute over 210 quilts per year to the Royal Inland Hospital’s cancer ward as well as to other community recipients. While creating quilts for both the community and for personal use we attend Workshop presentations, Project and Program evenings, “Quilt ’Til You Wilt” days, and biannual Quilting Retreats to improve our skills and promote the perpetuation of our art form.
