CQA/ACC Guild Rosette Invitational Show
at Quilt Canada 2024

Edmonton, Alberta

June 20-22, 2024

 

Entry Eligibility

 

  1. Open to quilts that have won a CQA/ACC Rosette for Viewers’ Choice or Best in Show at a CQA/ACC Member Guild Show held between January 1, 2020 to December 15, 2023.

 

  1. A write-up and picture of the quilt with quiltmaker and the rosette displayed must have been submitted to CQA/ACC and be on display in the “Guild Rosette Gallery” on the canadianquilter.com website by December 31, 2023.

 

Entry Procedure

 

  1. The online Guild Rosette Invitational Entry Form will be available on the Quilt Canada 2024 page of the canadianquilter.com website from February 1 – April 15, 2024.
  2. The Quilter maker must fill out the form in full, complete with a photo of the quilt and submit online by the entry deadline of April 15, 2024.
  3. Only a limited number of eligible quilts will be accepted due to space limitations. It is recommended that submissions be made as early as possible within the February 1 – April 15, 2024 entry timeline.
  4. Accepted entrants will be responsible for the cost of shipping the quilt both to and from Edmonton. Further information on shipping and timelines will be sent to accepted entrants after the April 15th entry form closure.

 

Exhibit Details

 

  1. The accepted quilts will be asked to arrive at a predetermined location in the Edmonton area by June 12, 2024.
  2. Quilts will be hung at the Quilt Canada 2024 Exhibit space at the Edmonton Convention Centre on June 19, 2024.
  3. The exhibit will close at 4 pm on June 22, 2024. Quilts can be picked up after the show closes if prearrangements for this have been made with CQA/ACC. If a quilt not picked up in person on Saturday, June 22, 2024, it will be shipped back to the entrant at their expense.
  4. A $1000.00 Viewers’ Choice Award (sponsored by Bernina Canada) will be given to the quiltmaker whose quilt gathered the most votes from attendees at Quilt Canada 2024. The award announcement will be made on Saturday, June 22 at the Award Ceremony. See schedule for time and location of the Award Ceremony.
