Artist’s Statement: I always loved a rainbow’s promise. My inspiration was my brother and my family, who gave my brother unconditional love and support when he came out at 63, after years of self-doubt and unhappiness. It is paper-pieced and embellished with crystals to represent freedom, courage and hope.
