Materials: Stars made using combination of Jo Morton® fabric.

Techniques: Machine piecing and domestic-machine quilting.

Credits: Traditional pattern, "Double Delight Star", a block from the 2017 Moda® block-of-the-week.

Artist’s Statement: The center of the block is a six-inch "double delight star" and I added an extra half-square triangle bordering block. The stars are set on point and sashed using a neutral, cream background. A final, pieced, three-part border finishes the quilt. I titled the quilt Estelle a name which comes from French origins meaning “star.”
