Dimensions: 37" x 46" Wall Quilt

Materials: Kona® cotton fabric, double layer Hobbs® 80/20 batting and Glide® No. 60 thread.

Techniques: Free-motion embroidery and longarm quilting with a stitch regulator (basic outline is ruler work, but fill is freehand).

Artist’s Statement: I wanted to make a high-contrast quilt of some sort. I fell in love with the bright fabric and wondered how much pink thread I would have to stitch down to make the fabric appear to change colour to pink.
