Artist’s Statement: Inspired by Sandra Bruce’s workshop using her technique, Material Matrix. The technique is intentionally, slightly wonky. This photograph was taken by me of my husband. I did all the piecing while Sandra did the long arm quilting. My goal is to make more quilts with this technique.
