Techniques: Hand embroidery, machine piecing and hand quilting.
Artist’s Statement: This quilt is all about free-form hand quilting. I had no final plan as I added stitches, but part way through, a cohesive design began to emerge. I challenged myself by using pink and I'm starting to like the colour! I love the organic textures resulting from hand quilting.
