Materials: Hand-dyed cotton and coating fabric.
Techniques: Hand and machine appliqué, fused, raw-edge appliqué, stamping with thickened dyes, dissolvable stabilizer and domestic-machine quilting.
Artist’s Statement: A wall hanging of ceramic tiles in Oaxaca, attached with twine and an over-laid design, inspired my exploration of a grid.
