Artist’s Statement: Inspired by an antique version of a Carolina Lily quilt, the lily block was re-engineered using Studio 180® tools and techniques. Traditional needle-turn appliqué is applied to the finished blocks. This quilt is designed to be beautiful enough to grace a castle, yet minimalist for the 21st-century quilter.
