Techniques: Hand embroidery, machine appliqué, English paper piecing, needlepoint-turn appliqué and longarm quilting with a stitch regulator.

Artist’s Statement: I started this year-long project to challenge myself with new techniques, since I am fairly new to this craft. I started to quilt only six years ago. I wanted the quilting kept to a minimum to put the emphasis on the blocks.
