Dimensions: 90" x 90" Wall Quilt

Materials: Over 100 different cotton prints, cotton chenille, plastic buttons, glass beads and 100% wool batting.

Techniques: Machine piecing with hand embroidery, appliqué and quilting. Trapunto, beadwork, crochet and hand couching.

Artist’s Statement: When I first started this quilt, I had no idea it would consume three years and 2,000 hours of my time, yet it captivated my attention from beginning to end. My design additions include two pattern blocks (pineapple, banana and gecko), plus some chenille work, buttons, crochet, beadwork and trapunto.
