Entry #: M 1974
Entrant: Stacey O'Malley
Dimensions: 31" x 31" Wall Quilt
Materials: Cotton fabric and WonderFil® thread.
Techniques: Machine, improvisational piecing and domestic-machine quilting.
Artist’s Statement: This quilt was improvisationally-pieced from my scraps in solid shades of green, white and grey fabrics. I challenged myself to use scraps in the shapes I found them, rather than trimming or cutting scraps to fit. Thus, I ended up with various triangular pieces. Made as part of the "2017 Pantone Quilt Challenge" hosted by Rebecca Bryan and Sarah Sharp.
Wonderfil Entry: Yes
