Materials: Cotton fabric, batting and backing.

Techniques: Machine piecing and domestic-machine quilting.

Artist’s Statement: After an encounter with a berating person, I was reminded of the saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never break me." This phrase sparked an idea for a quilt: sticks equal lines, stones equal circles. This wholecloth quilt contains 124 different designs made using only lines and circles.
