Materials: Cotton fabric and polyester cords.

Techniques: Hand embroidery, appliqué and piecing. Machine piecing, couching and domestic-machine quilting.

Artist’s Statement: I made this piece for a 2018, Quebec provincial challenge to make a quilt representing a collision of colours. I accentuated the colours by showing them on both a black and white background. To create movement, I split the circle in half, going in two different directions.
