Techniques: Hand embroidery, hand appliqué and hand piecing, as well as felting.

Artist’s Statement: I am inspired by trees and the exciting possibilities of fabric and thread as a medium to capture the spirit of forest scenery. Carefully selected, hand-cut fabrics, blended and embellished by hand stitching are used to build a dynamic, living texture, which adds realism to the tree portrait.
