Kim started Chatterbox Quilts eight years ago, as a blog discussing the projects that she was working on each week, and offering solutions to help people improve their quilting.
Today those solutions are offered in many formats: a blog, a pattern shop, a YouTube channel, online courses, Facebook, and her membershi group The Quilter’s Way.
The evolution of Chatterbox Quilts has reflected Kim’s journey as a quilter. In the early days of her journey it was all about the techniques. As she became more proficient as a quilter she realized that learning more techniques is not the secret to enjoying quilting to its fullest. It became clear to Kim that while it was important to hone one’s skills, it wasn’t the secret to getting the most enjoyment from quilting.
Kim enjoys quilting the most when she is quilting what she wants, when she wants, and when she is connected with other quilters.
