At the September meeting , President, Helen Gress gave members a calendar  marked with sewing days, meetings, & special events.  During the summer. members with long arm quilting machines quilted & bound Humbolt Bronco Quilts.  This year we  will make charity quilts for Childrens Wish Foundation & North East Outreach Services (NEOS).  October meeting, Corry vanHaastert showed examples of Crazy Quilts.  They were first created in England in 1800.  Kathy Tanner & Corry vanHaastert  used donated fabric & made kits containing cut pieces, pattern & backing for charity quilts for members to sew. November meeting, Brenda Gibbs of Quilt Designs in the Yard showed her copyright free quilt blocks laser painted with UV ink on light weight aluminum.  Theresa Casavant won the 12 inch  styalized red & black maple leaf on white . She also talked about Barn Quilt Trails you can tour in Canada & USA.  Kathy Tanner also showed a Daybreak  & a Cityscape quilt  made using a Hex n More & Side Kick rulers. With these rulers she made kits containing pieces for two blocks for the members to assemble. Finished blocks made into a quilt for NEOS
