Individuals attending lectures and tours do not require a name badge.

Your Quilt Canada name badge will display the name you submit on your registration form. The badge that you receive is to be worn at all of your classes; no additional badges are prepared.

Pre-ordered pins can be picked up at the Quilt Canada registration desk throughout the conference.

How do I register for a Quilt Canada workshop?

The Quilt Canada registration form includes dropdown lists of the workshops and lectures on offer each day — full-day sessions, then morning and afternoon sessions.

Browse the workshop schedule. Choose several options in case not all of your choices are available. The online counter for each workshop and lecture is accurate. If a workshop is full, the counter will display 0.

Be sure to note the workshop fee and whether there is an additional kit fee. The link to your supply list is in the online workshop description. Check the supply list again in late May for any changes.

Use the dropdown list to indicate your choices.

If you attempt to select a session that is already full you will receive a WORKSHOP IS FULL prompt.

How can I use the workshop codes to better understand the schedule?

Our coding system helps ensure that everyone gets to where they want to go, and on time.

Example: WAB.18pm (W-AB-.-18-pm)
Event Type:
W: workshop
L: lecture
WL: workshop/lecture
D: demo
E: evening
2 letters: Teacher’s Initials
2 numbers: Event Date (i.e. June 17, 18, 19 or 20)
Event Time:
d = full day – 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
am = morning – 8:30 am to 11:30 am
pm = afternoon – 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
9am = precise event start time; generally a one-hour event

What do I do if I have double-booked a workshop time slot?

Be wary of timing conflicts as you complete the registration form.

If you select a course and then change your mind, re-click on the dropdown menu. Then select the first entry (blank) in the list to remove your registration.

Always double check your schedule before submitting.

If you find that you have double-booked yourself, please email the Registrar or call 1-877-672-8777 Ext 2 as quickly as possible.

If a workshop is full, can I get my name added to the waiting list?

We aim to update workshop availability on a daily basis.

How can I book a tour of the National Juried Show?

Guided tours are available to help visitors learn more about the inspiration and techniques behind the exquisite quilts — both finalists and winners — in the National Juried Show.

There are tours daily on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tours are approximately an hour long and times are listed on the Quilt Canada registration form.
