When the pandemic hit, teachers around the world started online classes. I took a thread painting Lynx class from Sophie Standing on my hand dyed canvas. Fabric was glued then many layers of thread were used to add detail. The lynx was appliquéd on a piece of fabric and free motioned quilted.

Techniques and Materials
Machine appliqué; raw edge appliqué; thread painting Hand-dyed canvas, Aurifil threads.
Quilting
Self quilted using a frameless machine
Credits
