Artist’s Statement: When I saw the National Juried Show category, "Textile Translations", I knew I had to turn this, my favourite painting, into a quilt. Using a single piece of indigo batik, Inktense® pencils create the fog, while thread creates the impression of rain and spreading puddles as the raindrops fall.
