Techniques: Free-motion embroidery, hand and machine appliqué, thread painting, confetti, 3D construction and domestic-machine quilting.
Artist’s Statement: Soaring through the skies or setting upon the highest trees, the bald eagles’ acute vision enables them to spy a fish from three kilometers away. A swift swoop to the water and dinner is served. Their vision is said to be eight times sharper than a person with 20/20 vision.
