Techniques: Free-motion embroidery, machine, raw-edge appliqué, machine piecing and domestic-machine quilting.
Artist’s Statement: Living on Vancouver Island, I take a multitude of photos all over the Island and use the best parts of many to create a thread-painted and pieced image of a gentle, eastern, sunset sky and scene.
