Artist’s Statement: After my 33-year career working for the Library of Parliament, it seemed fitting to make parliament the subject of my sesquicentennial project. Twelve of the blocks I designed depict architectural elements in Canada’s Parliamentary buildings, both on and off Parliament Hill, and my thirteenth depicts the iron fences on Parliament Hill.
